Brian Rosen has 18 years of biopharmaceutical, government and legal experience. He created, developed and oversaw the Government Affairs, Policy and Alliance Development functions for MedImmune, a leading biotechnology company. He also led a cross functional effort at MedImmune to redesign the commercial organization. Most recently, Brian was Vice President of External Affairs for Variation Biotechnologies, a vaccine development company, where he focused on securing non-dilutive funding and partnerships with HHS, the Department of Defense and charitable foundations.
Brian also served as the Director of Healthcare Policy and Reimbursement at Berlex Laboratories where he helped launch multiple drugs and diagnostics. He was previously with Boehringer Ingelheim in managed care contracting and disease management. Brian served as the Chairman of the State Government Affairs Committee for BIO for 4 years. He received his J.D. from the Hofstra University School of Law and a B.A. from Tufts University.
Shana Rosen has 16 years of experience in healthcare consulting, market research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, strategy and performance improvement for pharmaceutical/biotech companies, healthcare providers and payers.
Shana gained first-hand experience in managed care while working for one of the largest regional health plans in the tri-state area; developed knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry as a a Project Manager in Pfizer's Strategic Planning & Business Development department and acquired extensive market research and consulting expertise as a Research Director at Health Strategies Group for 7 years.
Shana received an M.P.H. in Health Policy & Management from The Yale School of Medicine and a B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University.
